Mark Ruffalo
The Incredible Hulk and Spotlight actor, 49, claims that he first had a dream back in 2001 in which he had a brain tumor. It was so vivid, he said, that he visited a doctor, learning that he did indeed have a benign acoustic neuroma. Ruffalo had successful surgery, but it would be several months before he fully regained his balance and mobility in his face, as well as his now-thriving acting career. He retreated to the country with his wife and baby son while he recovered. “They saved my life, my wife and son,” he later told New York magazine.
