To coincide with National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, Fans for the Cure has released a video to be played on scoreboards throughout the Minor and Major Leagues during September and throughout the 2022 season. The short video features the charity’s Chairman, Steve Garvey, and Bob Kendrick, the president of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.

Bob and Steve make clear the importance of early detection of prostate cancer, a disease that disproportionately impacts the African-American community.
