From promising clinical trial results to new treatment approaches and an evolving standard of care, 2022 has proven to be an exciting year of advances in melanoma research. As the Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) continues to look ahead, we also want to take a moment to reflect on these advances and what they mean for melanoma patients, families, and the community at large.
MRA’s online community, the Melanoma > Exchange, recently hosted an Ask the Expert Q&A where participants were able to ask their questions about updates in the melanoma field, ranging from: treatment of earlier stage melanomas, findings in the neoadjuvant setting, and advances in treatment-resistant and rare melanomas. (You can watch the video at the top of the article or on YouTube.)
MRA’s Chief Executive Officer Dr. Marc Hurlbert and Senior Director of Special Projects Dr. Joan Levy took to answering their questions as well as providing updates on various MRA special projects. Check out the Q&A session on MRA’s Inspire community!
In addition to the Ask the Expert, on December 13th, Drs. Hurlbert and Levy went live for an exciting webinar discussion expanding on various research updates and took time to answer more questions from participants.
